With this data protection information, the company
Gaststätte und Pension Teichhaus
Owner: Martin Wolfram
Winkel 7
09235 Burkhardtsdorf
(hereinafter Teichhaus)
fulfils its information obligations under Art. 12(1), sentence 1 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR (DSGVO).
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is Teichhaus.
The definitions under Art. 4 GDPR apply.
On its website, Teichhaus provides information about itself and the services it offers.
Statistics
Anonymised log files are created when the website is used. These are viewed by authorised staff in order to optimise the website and in the event of security incidents. The log files contain information about when which information was accessed, how much data was transferred and whether the access was successful. If the client has transmitted its browser type and referrer, this data is also stored.
Google Analytics (only with consent)
If you click “Accept” in the notice window, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). This allows us to see, in aggregated form, which pages are accessed how often and where visitors come from. In the process, cookies are set (name begins with “_ga”, storage period up to 2 years) and information about your device, your browser, your approximate origin (country/region) and the pages accessed is transmitted to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store complete IP addresses. A transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Advertising features and Google Signals are switched off.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. We store your choice only in your browser (Local Storage, entry “th_consent”). Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Contact form and room enquiry
Users of the website can contact Teichhaus via two forms:
In the contact form at the bottom of every page (e.g. for a table reservation, a room booking, a celebration or a suggestion), the selected subject, name, email address and message are transmitted. A telephone number, a preferred date or arrival and departure dates, and the number of people may be provided voluntarily.
In the “Request a room” form, the arrival and departure dates, the desired room, the number of rooms and people, name and email address are transmitted. A telephone number and a message may be provided voluntarily.
The details are sent by email to Teichhaus exactly as you entered them and are additionally stored in a file on the website’s web server that is protected against external access. Only authorised Teichhaus staff have access to it there. Further communication with you then takes place by email or telephone and therefore corresponds to the security standards customary for that means of communication.
The data transmitted and the subsequent communication are stored so that we can process your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions. This data is processed on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the box in the form and which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
To protect against automated spam messages, when the contact form is submitted a non-reversible hash value of your IP address is stored on the web server together with the time of submission for one hour; the IP address itself is not stored. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning contact channel free from misuse under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
External services and links
Merely visiting the website does not load any content from external services: there are no social media plugins and no external fonts (e.g. Google Fonts). Fonts, images and videos are delivered exclusively from our own web server. Merely visiting the website therefore does not transfer any data to the providers named below. Google Analytics is only loaded if you give your consent (see section “Google Analytics”).
Google Maps: For the places to visit, you can display a map from Google Maps. The map is only loaded when you click “Show map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google. In the process, your IP address and the page accessed, among other things, are transmitted to Google, possibly also to the USA. The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
The website merely contains simple links to the following external services. Only when you click one of these links do you leave our website and access the page of the respective provider; its data protection provisions then apply:
